Reflections on Wordsworth via Mobile Phone

Mobile phone blogging on Wordsworth by High School students.

About June 19, 2008

Welcome to Wordsworth Reflections, the mobile blogging website of fifteen High School students. These students’ mission is to publish blogs directly from their mobile phones, in the outdoors, in the midst of nature.

The poet William Wordsworth saw cities as an alienating. The antidote to this alienation was to remove onself from the city and commune with the natural world.

So, why study his poetry inside a house, in a suburb, in a city?

Click to view students’ reflections, nature poetry, urban poetry, analysis of Wordsworth, or quite simply the best blogs from the whole project.

We welcome any comments!

The project was pioneered by Steve Collis (click here to see his blog, and here to read him on Twitter) and Mrs Su Temlett.
