    I agree with perspective. I think this is the most crucial detail in this excerpt and you picked it out.

    I definitely agree that thoughts of nature help me to keep things in perspective. There is a constancy in the natural world that reminds me that even when things seem to be out of control the ocean will still be generating waves, the wind will still be in the trees, the mountains still standing.

    For me, when I reflect on memories of nature it often leads me to think of God, which gives me an even greater sense of peace.
